Barely two weeks after Demi Lee Moore, winner of the first Die Kontrak television program's album, Mis Eet Slaap Herhaal, hit the shelves, it already boasts gold status.

Demi Lee was named the winner of this popular television program on Via (Channel 147) on 23 November, during the first Afrikaans is Groot concert. In the program, viewers were introduced to hopeful participants who wanted to win a Coleske Artists contract.

Demi Lee's album, Miss Eat Sleep Repeat, contains her new single with the same title, three more original hits, from the songs she sang on The Contract program, as well as the popular rendition of American country singer Cam's hit Diane . After Demi Lee, along with her mentor on the show, Monique Steyn, performed the song, they also caught Cam's attention, complimenting them on the version on social media.

During the last Afrikaans is Groot show, Demi Lee was surprised with a gold award for her album for sales of more than 15 000 units. This is an exceptional achievement for any artist, not to mention an artist new to the scene with an album that is only two weeks old.
